Do not put bricks, water bottles, etc. in the toilet to save water. This causes improper flushing.
Do not flush Q-tips, dental floss, diaper liners, paper towels, facial tissue, tampons or sanitary napkins down the toilet. These may all cause obstructions and any charges for clearing them will be billed back to the resident.
When overflowing occurs, turn water supply off at the valve under the toilet.
If water is backing up in the shower or bathtub when using the sink or toilet, the mainline is restricted. DO NOT USE ANY WATER. Call maintenance for assistance.
